Lifespring Kids Elementary is a fun place designed to meet the unique needs of kids in 1st-5th grades. We provide a safe place where elementary kids learn about Jesus, worship dynamically, make new friends, and have fun!
Our role, in the entire Lifespring Family Ministry, is to partner with parents to help kids grow to love God and love people. Here at Lifespring, we like to Think Orange. Thinking Orange means we believe our role as the church (think yellow) is to empower parents (think red) to champion their role as the spiritual leaders in their family through the connection of what we share on Sunday mornings and what parents teach at home. Together, red and yellow make orange, which is why we Think Orange!
Our elementary classes follow a Bible-based curriculum which emphasizes Three Basic Truths: I can trust God no matter what, I need to make the wise choice, and I should treat others the way that I want to be treated. Each month we learn about a new Life Application, which we refer to as a “Life App.” Each Bible story, activity, and discussion reinforces our Life App and ties in one of the Basic Truths each week, with the goal of helping kids develop a lifelong relationship with Christ.
During the pandemic, we are not meeting but are sending out weekly emails to elementary families which include a Bible Story video and the So & So Show video and Parent Activity Guide from the 252 Basics curriculum. These resources are also posted on Facebook on Saturdays. Families are also encouraged to engage on our Facebook page on Mondays for a Monday Madness Family Challenge, and on Wednesdays to see videos from their Lifespring teachers on the Wednesday Wave.
